CEO
Cynthia Perez, Chief Executive of Modern Stones, has been responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company for over 20 years. Mrs. Perez directly oversees the finance, estimating, contracts, and project management.
Alongside her husband, Carlos Perez, Cynthia has managed a work environment that is conducive to the luxury and expertise that Modern Stones prides its work on.
Mrs. Perez is a Cuban-American residing in Miami with her husband, Carlos Perez, Chief Operating Officer of Modern Stones and her children.

Carlos Perez, Chief Operating Officer of Modern Stones, has been at the forefront of South Florida’s Natural Stone and Tile industry for over 35 years. With experience in all aspects of the industry, Mr. Perez prides himself on his knowledge and expertise in bringing his clients' visions to life.
Perez began his journey learning the business through installation and fabrication, which he evolved into creating a business that now contracts under Miami's most elite Developers and Contractors.
Perez's leadership and attention to detail work, can be seen in major developments around Miami, FL - recently, The Brickell Flatiron, Fendi Chateau Residences, and The Seminole Hard Rock.
Born and raised in Cojimar, Cuba until the age of eleven and moved to the United States of America with his Cuban-born parents. Mr. Perez resides in Miami with his wife, Cynthia Perez, Chief Executive Officer of Modern Stones and his children.

Ms. Alava, Mrs. Gil, and Mrs. Velasquez, Accounting Department of Modern Stones, come from a combined experience of over 35 years.
The team of three have different roles in the office, but together, have the same motivation - bringing field operations together with our in-house performance.
Gil and Velasquez have worked alongside each other at Modern Stones for almost 15 years, The duo continues to excel at assisting our customers and employees with any billing concerns. Similarly, Alava manages all commercial billing transactions, and the accounting files for our current/past projects with as much detail, as diligence.
